Miss Wang is research fellow at Chinese Academy of Financial Inclusion of RUC. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics & Economics from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and her Ph.D. degree in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis. Her area of expertise covers Financial Economics, Applied Econometrics, Macroeconomics, and Machine Learning. She led a project sponsored by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation studying the development of Financial Services for the Poor (FSP) in China. She also conducted in-depth third-party policy evaluations on financial-reform pilot zones under the authorization of the PBOC. She wrote two chapters on the policy review (2021) and financial health of micro- & small business entities (2022) in the development reports of financial inclusion in China.
