Ms. Cheng is the Associate Professor at the School of Economics of Renmin University of China (RUC), Executive Director of the Center for Digital Economy Research (CDER) at RUC, Senior Fellow of the Chinese Academy of Financial Inclusion (CAFI) at RUC, and Advisor to the Overseas Business Department of Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank. Her research focuses on the Economics of Network Industries, digital economy, and digital finance. She received a master’s degree in Business Management and a doctoral degree in Economics at RUC and Doshisha University respectively.
