Lianyun Zeng, Ph.D in Economics, was a visiting scholar at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, US, and the University of Birmingham, UK. Her research covers a variety of areas in financial inclusion, with special attention to the capability-building and sustainable development of micro businesses and vulnerable groups with the support of financial services. She participated in the preparation of the Report of Financial Inclusion Development in China for several years, and published research results on topics related to financial inclusion and financial capability in domestic and international journals.
