Dr. Min Ji holds a PhD degree in Economics from Renmin University of China and was a visiting Scholar at Stanford University. A veteran central banker, Dr. Ji currently serves as the Director General of the Counselor Office, researcher, supervisor of PhD students in a joint program between the PBC School of Finance, Tsinghua University and Research Institute of Finance and Banking, PBC.

Dr. Min Ji was involved multiple times in the drafting of the documents of the annual Central Economic Work Conference and Central Rural Work Conference as well as the People's Bank of China's Monetary Policy Execution Reports, Financial Stability Reports, and Report on Rural Financial Services. He is also an award-winning leader or participant in numerous research initiatives commissioned by National Social Science Fund of China, National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the People's Bank of China. Dr. Ji's research focuses upon macroeconomics and monetary policy, financial markets, and rural & inclusive finance.
