Youping YIN, Deputy Director-General of Financial Consumer Protection Bureau of the People’s Bank of China (PBC), Research Fellow, Ph.D. Supervisor, and Adjunct Professor. He is a Ph.D. in finance at Institute of Chinese Financial Studies of the Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE) and a postdoctoral fellow in business administration at Peking University Guanghua School of Management. His research and practice focus on financial regulation, regional financial coordination, financial consumer rights protection, financial inclusion, and Internet finance. In recent years, he has published a number of monographs, including Research on the Coordinated Development of Regional Finance in China, Research on Financial Support for the Development of Modern Service Industry, and Research on the Protection of Consumer Rights and Interests in Internet Finance. He has presided over many major humanities and social sciences projects sponsored by the Ministry of Education and received awards. He has also published more than 60 articles in national newspapers and magazines such as Journal of Financial Research, Statistics and Actuarial Science, Journal of Chinese Academy of Governance Administration, and China Finance. He has been awarded the“Labor Medal” of Shanxi Province, the “Youth Medal for Transformation and Leapfrogging Development of Shanxi Province”, and the “National Labor Medal for Financial Practitioners”.
