Mr. Cheng is responsible for industrial market research and brand PR at Lufax Holding and leads the work of Ping An Inclusive Finance Research Institute.

Mr. Cheng specializes in inclusive finance, commercial insurance, and financial consumer protection and empowerment. He has rich experience and keen insight in financial inclusion. His research results have been published in Financial Times, China Banking and Insurance News, Inclusive Finance Research, etc. He co-edited Small and Medium-sized Banks Serving MSEs: Challenges and Solutions and New Perspective, New Strategy – CPCP Customer Protection and Empowerment 2020, and participated in the drafting of China Inclusive Finance Innovation Report 2020 by CASS.

Mr. Cheng graduated from the College of Insurance and Actuarial Science at Wuhan University. In 2007, he joined Ping An Insurance Group and served as General Manager of the SME Project Department and General Manager of the Marketing Department of Ping An Credit Insurance, General Manager of Ping An Puhui Ningbo Branch, and Manager of the Brand Management Department of Ping An Puhui Ningbo Branch.
