Prof. Chen, Doctoral Supervisor of the School of Finance, Renmin University of China, Senior Research Fellow of Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies, Renmin University, and Fulbright Scholar. He holds a bachelor's degree in Price Economics, a master's degree in International Finance, and a Ph.D. in Finance from Renmin University. He has nearly 30 years' experience of teaching and research in finance and risk management and is one of the first senior experts in China engaged in education and research on modern risk management in financial institutions. He was the Vice Dean and Chairman of the Academic Committee of the International College of the Renmin University, and Head of Financial Risk Management Discipline, and founded the first master's and doctoral programs in risk management of financial institutions in China. Since 1998, he has been a Visiting Scholar at University of Reading, Suffolk University, University of Illinois, and UC Berkeley.
