Chelsea Cheng is the leading author of several BCG industry research reports, including Smart Operation, the Next Big Thing in the Banking Industry Competition, and the co-author of Open Securities (together with Guotai Junan Securities), and several leading insurance reports for BCG China including 2018 China InsurTech Development Report.

She is a member of the People & Organization and Operations practices in BCG and provides training for corporate clients. She is also an invited lecturer for the corporate training of the Insurance Association of China (IAC). Chelsea is a licensed professional career development advisor (NCDA). She is working as an off-campus career development facilitator for students at Fudan University.

Chelsea's experiences outside of BCG include student coach and teaching experience at Fudan University and tech experience at Cisco Systems.

Chelsea obtained an MBA at Cornell University and earned her bachelor's and master's degree at Fudan University. She is fluent in Mandarin and English.
